Educational Partners

top-notch businesses within the equine industry that have committed to assisting
veterinarians, farriers and horse owners
in improving equine health and welfare through their
educational support.

The
Association is a sister association alongside the AAEP, and is its
own separate non-profit corporation. Membership in the AAEVT is open
to all technicians and assistants in the United States and Canada,
regardless of licensure or certification, as well as to students in
veterinary technician schools. As of 2006, we are also welcoming
international members! The AAEVT welcomes all paraprofessionals who
work in the equine veterinary field - especially those who are in
practice management. We will be offering courses and CE with a
practice management/ business focus at all of our meetings. We do
require that members are employed in the Veterinary Industry, except
for students. This Association is a Professional Association and is
not for the general horse owning public.
